Audience
SCIL will only be accepting applications from candidates who have a school that is able to offer and support an apprenticeship role from September 2025. They might be teaching assistants, HLTAs, or those who’ve entered the role though pastoral or SEND provision and have not had the chance to gain QTS.
If your school is looking to fill a vacancy with an apprentice, SCIL can work with you to support in recruiting an apprentice, who can then be assessed for eligibility to join our ITT programme – please contact Nikki Blake if you would like support via email: scil@somerset.gov.uk
